Thought of the Day

13   Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,   14   I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.   15   Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. ~ PHILIPPIANS 3:13-15

***

Think about the simplicity that is expressed here. The “apprehension”, the realization of life Itself, is not about attaining great knowledge. The knowledge is a knowing of who you are. The mark is Christ and Him alone. It is the life living in you. “As many as be perfect, be thus minded.” It is our daily walking, every step we take, everything we do, that is Christ. Just as Jesus had a time He was manifested, it did not make Him Christ. It only revealed Who He was. So is it with His Bride.

Bible Verse

Job 42:2-4 King James Version (KJV)

1  Then Job answered the LORD, and said,  2  I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.  3  Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
